SPORTSFONTS was built with the sports designer in mind. We are a rare breed that is enamored with the aesthetic of athletics, so it was only appropriate to create a site focused on such a crucial element of sport: typography. From jerseys to end zones, it is impossible to downplay the effect of type in our industry/passion of choice, so instead, we choose to embrace it wholeheartedly. ABOUT THE FOUNDER

Kristopher Bazen is no stranger to the world of sports design. Hailing from Canton, Ohio, home of the Pro Football Hall of Fame, there's no question that sports is in his blood, and as far back as his days in middle school, he was determined to make a living out of combining his passions for athletics and the visual arts.

A graduate of Canton McKinley High School and the Art Institute of Pittsburgh, he started his professional career at the Sports Licensed Division of the adidas Group, where he designed apparel graphics and sports identities for the NFL, NBA, NHL, and NCAA. He ultimately worked his way up to the role of adidas' Apparel Graphics Manager for the NBA in 2009. In 2011, after a brief stint at Knights Apparel as Senior Designer for the NBA, NHL, and MLB, he decided to venture off into the world of Sports Marketing and Promotional Design, becoming the Director of Branding for Old Hat Creative in Norman, Oklahoma. In 2013, Kris decided to move back to his home state of Ohio, where he spent time with J-America's Team Licensed Group, as well as The Ohio State University.  In 2015, Kris took on a new role as Senior Graphic Designer for Under Armour's Team Sports Division in Baltimore, Maryland.
